Questions turned into experiments

Section

A hypothesis, the design of the test, its constraints, what I observed, and an honest reading of the results. An inconclusive or unsuccessful test is still worth publishing when it is documented carefully.

Editorial standard

Every entry includes the question, hypothesis, setup, baseline, findings, limitations and the next experiment.

How status works
  • PlannedThe question and test are designed; nothing has run yet.
  • RunningThe test is live and results are still coming in.
  • CompleteThe test has finished, with a result: Supported, Not supported or Inconclusive.

Formats

  • A/B-test diary
